Default attacheing emails to specific contacts

is it possible to attache both inbound and outbound e-mails to a specific
contact so as to create a history with the complete message?

I bet you know what you are asking. I doubt anyone else could. Try again,
and explain why Outlook's Activities function does not fulfill your need.

I believe the best way to accomplish this is to use Business Contact Manager
which comes with some versions of Office

That's overkill - just use Activities on the Contacts form.
