I'm trying to do a search for a contact. When I type in the search field what
I'm looking for all of my contacts do not appear. For example, if I type in
"Captain" I only get two hits come up when I actually have about 30 contacts
with "Captain" in the name field or company field. This is a shared listing
with one other person.

If you want an answer, please provide details version, exactly what you are
doing to perform the search

Sorry, I'm new to this. It's Outlook 2003. When I go to my contacts list I
type in "Captain" in the search bar. I know I have about 30 Captains but only
two appear as a search result. "Captain" is listed in the "Full Name" field
and in the Company field. This only started today. I have not had a problem
until now. This is a shared contact list.
Thank you.

Who "owns" the shared contact folder? Is this the folder designated under the folders to search?
