Can I send an email to everyone in a group but each person sees o.
I want to be able to send emails to a group of people, but do it in such a
way that each person sees only their own name. Is that possible? |

You can do almost exactly what you want. If you send email using the bcc
field rather than the to or cc filed then each person will get the email, and no one will know who you sent to even the receiver will not see his/her name. -- Neil "dxcj4life" wrote in message ... Yes. Use a mail merge.

You could have looked in the Help files. Outlook uses Word for performing
mail merge functions such as Form Letters, mailing labels, envelopes, and fax or email merges. For an overview of these functions take a look he http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/printlabel.htm http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/mailmerge.htm http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...186361033.aspx -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "dxcj4life" wrote in message ... I tried looking in "Help." I read each of the files that you listed. I
tried to follow the instructions, but it did not work as explained in Doc #2. I want to send requests for information to a group of people without them feeling like I am sseeking the information from a large group. We can't read your mind. If you don't tell us in complete detail what you
did, we can't tell you what you did wrong. The instructions are all accurate. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "dxcj4life" wrote in message ... I tried looking in "Help."
