OL2007 - Contact Activities Cannot Display View

I recently upgraded to OL 2007 and I have been trying to link calendar
occurences (like bdays) to my contacts. When I go to the Contact and click
on the Activities button I get "Outlook cannot display this view" Can anyone
tell me why I can't view it and how to fix this?

How did you "upgrade?" You appear to have corrupted your profile when you
did. You must always create a new profile if you attempt an in place upgrade
of Outlook.

When I upgraded it was on a whole new laptop. To upgrade the file, I just
created a new database and then opened the old database file in the new
database file. Nothing seems to be missing or anything like that from the
old dbf's. So it never occurred that they could have corrupted. How would I
fix that without losing all my information?

dbf's? Outlook uses no such thing.
Clarify what you did to connect Outlook to your previous Outlook data file.

Sorry my mistake - wrong terminology - when I first activated my new version
of outlook, I created a whole new data file. When I was done setting it up,
I went to "File; Open; Oulook Data File" and opened my old pst file in the
new data file.

Not very much farther along, are we? Opening a previous Outlook data file in
no way connects it to your profile which is what your error messages are
telling you. If you would like to use your previous file as your default
file then follow the instructions that have been posted here many times to
migrate Outlook data correctly.
