Creating a distribution list...

I'm using Outllook 2003. I would like to add all the members of a specific
catagory to a distribution list. Does anyone know how to do this?

Why? Using Categories is much more robust than a DL. What do you think you will accomplish with a DL that you cannot with Categories?

I have some hundreds of email contacts (updated in batch) inside a
public folder (exchange 2003) that
are clasified into categories, now I want to group them into several
DLs according to
the each category they happen to belong and enable my end users to
mail them easily.

Given the prior scenario, how can i instruct end users to use the
Category name itself
and avoid creating the Distribution Lists? - my Office Outlook 2k3
client does not recognize as
a valid destination any category name typed directly inside the To:/
Cc: text boxes (belonging
to the email contacts inside de public folder).

Ok Milly...I'll fall for your logic just once. I am attempting to send an
email to 165 people. They are all in the same catagory. I am using Outlook
2003 and cannot find any directions on how to accomplish this without
individually sellecting 165 recipients and putting them into a distribution
list. I would like to be able to select all the people in the catagory with
the fewest keystrokes possible. If you actually know how to do this, I would
appreciate a reply....not another critical question.

Group your contacts by category view, select the category and drag to your inbox. There, few keystrokes, no sarcasm.
