I imported almost 100 contacts from my Outlook Express and there was no
problems with that. But when I create email and click TO:, the contact list pops up to choose the contacts but there are 2 listings for each contact. The 2nd listing shows up as their name with "business fax" after it. Also it shows their name@(fax #) and FAX as the email type. How can I remove the listings of all the fax entries? |

Outlook correctly considers fax numbers to be valid electronic addresses,
since there are many client- and server-based components that can use such addresses. One method to hide fax numbers from the address book is to prefix the fax number with one or more letters (maybe B for business fax, H for home, O for other). If the fax number begins with a letter, Outlook won't show it in the address book. There are a couple of techniques or utilities that can help you hide fax numbers from the address book. Put fax numbers in some other (non-phone) fields. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "HockeyPlayer" wrote in message ... Thanks Russ. Too bad there is not an option for filtering those out.
