"New Appointment For Contact" missing from Outlook 2007?
I was able to find and add the "New Appointment" button to the Quick Access
toolbar in the Contact form, but it is not the same as the "New Appointment For Contact" button from Outlook 2003 in that it does not seem to associate the appointment with the contact it was created in. There is no "Contacts" box on the appt form showing the Contact associated, and when you look to see if the appt shows up in the Activities page of the Contact, it does not. Is this functionality lost? |

No. It doesn't show up. New Meeting from the Communicate tab does.
That contact linking can be shown by enabling it via Tools | Options | Preferences tab | Contact Options button ... "show contact linking on all forms". You can at least create that linking manually. -- Bill R "kanigetts" wrote in message ...
