I am a newbie to Outlook. Our company had always used GroupWise so I
am learning as I go. New laptop, Vista and Office '07 installed. I have created my Contact book as follows: - Under "All Contact Items" I have a bar titled "My Contacts" and in that window I have seven groups of addresses (such as members, vendors, personal etc), one of which is titled "Contacts". In that group I have distribution lists called 'Purchasing', 'Pharmacy', etc. When I first got the laptop I would address an email by opening a blank email, clicking on "Address Book" and choose the recipient. Less than 2 months after getting the laptop the hard drive had to be replaced and I've had to redo my settings on everything - and I think I might have missed something. Now when I open a blank email and click on "Address Book" my only options to choose from are the distribution lists in the "Contacts" group. I think I'm getting confused with what addresses or what distribution lists go where. Any and all help would be INCREDIBLY appreciated!!! One of the most often answered question in this newsgroup. Google Groups is your friend. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287563/en-us -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Your post is vague, but I assume you are talking about separate Contacts
Folders and the fact that they are no longer appearing in your Address Book view. Right? If so, have you enabled each of these folders as email address books in their properties? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] wrote in message ... I am a newbie to Outlook.
