shared contacts
I have a need to share contacts across a small organization, with the
following constraints: 1) want to be able to share some designated contacts, but not all 2) need each person to synch their OL contacts to their handhelds (full contacts, not just the shared ones). as I understand it, activesync will only sync with one contacts folder, thereby eliminating possibility of using two separate contacts folders, one of which is synced, and one which is not 3) we are on a hosted exchange server, so can share folders across our little org 4) categorization of each contact, if not understood already, would need to go across the share as well. In other words, the categorization of a contact would have to be seen the same way by all sharing, in case for some reason in any proposed solution the category field is not communicated across. is there maybe a way to mark contacts 'private' like appointments, or something else I'm missing, which would enable me to do the above? thx for any help. -- Boris |
