How to display ACT database contacts in Dist. List dropdown?
I am trying to create a Distribution List. I use ACT 2005 as my Database and
it is not showing up in the Dist. List drop down either as a choice, nor do those contacts show up in any of the lists that do display. |
How to display ACT database contacts in Dist. List dropdown?
Unless this question has been completely misunderstood - why would you
assume that the Act 2005 contacts would appear anywhere as an option within Outlook? If it is based on something that the Act 2005 documentation states should be possible based on some kind of addin provided by Act, then the question would need to be posed to the Act folks since there is no "native" support for showing contacts within an Act database (or any other database for that matter). Please note, synchronization capabilities between 2 different products to transfer contact info is something entirely different. The sync capability in this type of scenario is something provided by the vendor of the "other" product and not something that comes as a standard option with Outlook. You should also always provide all essential basic information such as Outlook version being used along with any other "detailed" supporting info in any question posed.
