Default OL2007 Collapse All Groups

All of my Contacts are in and "Arranged By" Categories. I upgraded from
Office 2003 to 2007 last week and since then I can't get the Categories to
permanently stay Collapsed. If I go to the View menu, Expand/Collapse
Groups, it will Collapse the Categories, but as soon as I go back to my Mail
folder and return to Contacts, the Categories are again Expanded. Anyone
have a fix for this?

Thanks.

There was a remedy for this that worked in older version - so try it for
2007 as it may work. Make the setting change twice in a row. I mean the
setting you described "I go to the View menu, Expand/Collapse
Groups" Do it twice. It worked in 2002. I haven't heard of it still being a
problem in 2007 buy no strange behaviour surprises me.

Unfortunately, that didn't work. Thanks for responding Judy. If you come up
with any other suggestions I'll be grateful. I can't imagine nobody has
pointed out this bug to Microsoft yet but it is so frustrating!

Thanks.

I did a few years ago. Pointing stuff out doesn't mean it a) gets fixed and
b) doesn't get broken again in a later version. It was fixed in 2003.

I know what you mean! I think there's a MS web site to report bugs. I'll
have to look for it. Thanks for writing, and give my love to Australia!
Such a beautiful country!

Cheers,
Christine
