how to set up distribution lists in 2007
 

I have tried to set up a distrubution list in outlook 2007 but can't find the
address book and it asks me to contact my exchange administrator which i do
not have as far as i am aware, any ideas folks on seeting this up without
using excahange and can someone explain whta they mean by exchange

You need to start by indicating how you configured your email account.
Outlook would not be asking for Exchange server if you did not tell it that
you are using one as your mail transport.
You need to configure you mail account correctly before Outlook can work.
