how do i set a custom contact card/form as the default ?

Hello,

I have created a custom contact card/form and have successfully mapped all
the corresponding data, however, when i go to finalise the import, it
transfers all the information into the standard contact card format.

I have already set it up, so when u click on new contact it comes through
with the custom card/form I have created, but when it comes to importing it
still reverts back to the standard card.

Im using outlook 2003. If anyone has a soloution, i would REALLY appreciate
it.

Kind Regards

Chris M

Hi Chris,

you must change the message class of the form.

You can do this with this freewa "DocMessageClass"
http://www.publicshareware.com/publi...-utilities.php

also available on this site:

"Apply Custom Forms to Existing Items"
http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2004/20040525.htm

Maybe it helps.
