How to do a mass change 'file as' for all contacts
 

I currently file all my contacts by company name first under the 'file as'
option. I now want to change that to file by name first, but I have a lot of
contacts. Is there a way to change them all at one time, or do I have to
change each one individually? Or is there an app out there that can do it?

Does the code exist out there already in an app that you can run? I do not
know code, so I wouldn't feel comfortable trying to do it myself...

Not that I know of. If there are ISV's who have done this, they would have
jumped on this thread before I did.
