Where to find address book
Yes, I know this is an old old subject, but I can't find where Outlook 2002
is storing my contacts. I don't find any files *.wab or *.pab I am wondering if my contact list might be imbedded in the Outlook.pst file. I haven't done anything unusual - just regular Outlook and Outlook Express functions. I do share addresses with other Microsoft products like WORD and ACCESS. Thanks for any enlightment Ted |
Where to find address book
Enlighten surrounds you.
Posted here every day is the answer to your question. Just look at the post immediately preceding yours. I will repost, of course. All Outlook data resides in one file. The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored. Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup or transfer: http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm http://www.howto-outlook.com/Howto/backupandrestore.htm http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...771141033.aspx -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Ted Scherbel" wrote in message ...
