Can't find contacts from email
I am running Outlook 2003 SP3
I know this is a frequent question but I still can not solve it after reading all I can find: The problem appears when I try to add email addresses by clicking the To button in the new email: Outlook answers "The address list can not be displayed. The Contact folder associated with the address list could not be opened" The same thing goes for ditribution lists. The Contact list looks OK, I can send email by marking a contact and using Action/New message to contact. I have checked the box "Show this as an email address book in filder list under Properties. (opened in Folder List, right cllicking on Contacts) File/Data File Management shows two files: Archive Folders Personal Folders I have followed the instructions in both http://home.indy.rr.com/russval/addressbook.htm#Lose http://support.microsoft.com/default...Product=ol2002 Still, I con not find out how to resolve the problem. -- Olle , O3C Patent Translations |

Did you configure the Address Book to display the valid Contacts Folder by default? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Olle" wrote in message ... Not sure what you mean by "contact list" since Outlook uses no such term.
Start by posting a more complete description of your problem. Include your Outlook version, steps that created the problem, and steps used to try to solve it so far. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Inbox20039" wrote in message ...
