Checking Names
My 2003 outlook program has started acting quirky.
In the past, I could type in a name such as "Joseph," click "check name" and it would give me a list of people with the first name Joseph. If I typed in a name like "Sarita" and there was only one person with that first name, it would resolve Sarita. Now, it will not resolve the first names anymore unless they are in my personal address book and not the global contacts server. So when I type in a first name, and click "check name" it will show no matches. This is frustrating. Any help? |
Checking Names
Not sure what you mean by "personal address book" since Outlook has no such
thing. Look in Tools Options of the Address Book view. I suspect Outlook is simply doing what you have configured there. Once a match is found, Outlook does not search other folders. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "gb" wrote in message ... My 2003 outlook program has started acting quirky.
