Default Forward Distribution List to other user

I'm now using Outlook 2007. In the 2003 version we could send other people a
distribution list by going up to Actions and Forward. THe other person could
then open it and drag the list into Contacts. A friend just sent me some
lists she created in 2003 and when I open it there's nothing there. I tried
just dragging the attachment over like I'm used to doing, but the only thing
there is the info on the person sending it----NO actual list....Do any of you
have any ideas on this? Oh, btw---I tried doing a Save As and it saves as
an "outlook item".....not as a pst or any other definitive extension
indicating a Contact item. I really need these emails----any help you can
give will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

There is and always has been only one supported method to transfer a DL via
email. You attach it as an Outlook Item to a message in RTF format.

OK, Russ---So today I went to my friend's office (I thought she might be
doing somethig wrong) and I attached all of her DLs to a email and sent it
to myself---they looked great on her end----but when I tried to open them,
they're all blank! The addresses aren't there. When I hover over the icon
it says they are Outlook Item Files. She has 2003 and I have 2007---can this
have something to do with the problem???

Post relevant details. You provided none. Precise steps used and information
store would seem a minimum.
