contacts file missing after importing small excel database
I simply used the import function to add an excel data base of names
addresses etc.to my contact file. I mapped each excel item to outlook item. The process started importing normally. Then suddenly during the import process, I got the "Outlook will have to terminate "message. Outlook closed. When I went to look at my contacts list - it had been destroyed - NO contacts existed anymore. Yet the "contacts" icon showed (67546) contacts - which is way more that I ever had. |

What version of Outlook? What type of account? -- Brian Tillman |
