How do I direct the contacts list to be the default address book rather than
Global Address book in Outlook 2003? My boss has to always change from "global" to "contacts" after clicking the "to" button. Is there a way to make the contacts be the default address book? Thank you for your help? |

I cannot find the global Address Book. It does not come up on my husband's
computer yet he keeps getting an address which seems to be from a global address list. Can you tell me how to delete this address? When he sends out emailers this man gets the email and doesn't want it coming to that address. How do I find the global address book and delete the entry? When he types in "r" for rbenson he gets the right address and then one which
say " This one is not in the contact list and we can't find it anywhere. Somewhere in all my searching I came up with the fact it is a global address. We don't know how it got there or how to get rid of it. "Brian Tillman [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: "Sug1940" wrote in message ... I cannot find the global Address Book. Somewhere in all my searching I came up with the fact it is a global address. We don't know how it got there or how to get rid of it. That's the autocompletion cache and it's a record of the last 2,000 addresses to which you've sent mail. The second address is there because he sent mail to it. The cache is not connected to your Contacts in any way and has nothing to do with a "global address".. If you want to delete it, select it when it pops up by using the arrow keys (up or down) and press Delete. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
