2007 outlook contacts and calendar linking
Hi, I need help! I installed the 2007 outlook and when I am in the calendar
trying to link an event to a contact OR when I am in the contact and try to see the tasks or appointments linked to it, they don't show up. The event will allow me to tag the name to it, but again, when I go to the contact, there is no appointment showing. I've done the "show contact linking on all forms". I think the contact list is messed up... When I go this path: Tools-Address Book- Contacts (to check my contact list) the Names are normal but the Display Names and Email addresses are messed up- they are fax numbers and emails in the wrong categories. Am I confusing? :) I'm looking to talk to someone who knows 2007 outlook well because I am also trying to sync outlook calendar with customer manager from Quick Books/Intuit. .. THANK YOU!!! |

Confusing is an understatement. You have posted more problems and more
variables than anyone could track. Clarify your problem. Clarify the steps that lead up to it. Here are some guidelines on how to do so: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=555375 Make sure you include how you migrated your data to this presumably new installation of Outlook 2007 ("I installed Outlook 2007") and how you configured your Outlook Address Book Service for your new profile. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "LisaToland" u51030@uwe wrote in message news:9444af98ae862@uwe... if the fax # and email addresses are in the wrong fields, something is
seriously wrong. Did you import the contacts? Are you syncing them with Quickbooks? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
