Basic contact issue in outlook 2003
I want to configure Outlook to that I can assign any name to an email address
OTHER than the suggestion of the program. For example, I'd like to change to simply "Dad". The AOL and Gmail interfaces do this quickly and easily. I cannot seem to make Outlook do it. Help? |

Basic contact issue in outlook 2003
No special configuration is required. Simply create a new contact in your
contacts folder, give it the name "Dad," and type in the email address for that contact. When you create a new message, you'll be able to type "Dad" into the To box, and Outlook will automatically match up that text with the contact and add the email address. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook 2007 Programming: Jumpstart for Power Users and Administrators http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=54 "Andrew Altman" wrote: I want to configure Outlook to that I can assign any name to an email address OTHER than the suggestion of the program.
