Hi,
My problem is a bit different other mising values discussed here. I "inherited" an old realtive simple Outllok-based solution, used by my company. There is a user defined form using user defined fields. The form is based on a standard task form and is used in a public folder accessible to several users. One of the user defined fields loses values. A new item is created or an existing one is edited. A text value is entedered in the form text control bound with the user defined filed "Competition". After saving the value is gone. Having analyzed the item with OulookSpy I have determined that the value is being written to a differen field: "StartDate" (standard Outlook field). Goiung through items created by other users I have noticed that the value for "Competition" is saved elsewhere, e.g. in: "urn:schemas:contacts:c". Strangely enough, some users can see their values on the form, thouh others cannot. The user defined field is defined on the item level (this is my assumtion based on http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290656). The text control on the form is bound to the user defined filed "Competition". I have tried re-binding the field to the form control and deleting the control from the form and creating it from scratch again. It did not help. Do you have any suggestions? Regards, Marcin Pomin |
