Customized task forms should retain characteristics when assigned
When you customize a task for by hiding certain pages and creating pages,
publish it, open a copy of your new task, attempt to assign it to someone else after copying it to your task list, the task does not retain the form you gave it. Simply put, customized tasks DO NOT WORK in Outlook. This is a bug in need of a fix. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Well, when you assign it to another person, doesn't the assign action create another task item to mail to that person. If it does, then it will use the standard task form. You need to examine that action and modify it so that it opens you custom task form. I do not use task forms, myself, so this is just a guess. -- Hollis Paul Mukilteo, WA USA |
