outlook should let me send one email reply to multiple emails.
I am in human resources and for certain positions, I receive hundreds of
emails. It is inefficient for me to open each individual email and hit reply then copy and paste a general message about where we are in our selection process. The ideal situation would be to highlight multiple emails in my inbox and hit reply all and it would put all of their emails into one. The best would be if I could Bcc everyone. Please let me know if this can be done. Many of my colleagues would love to have this option. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. outlook should let me send one email reply to multiple emails.
Christine,
I had a client with the same request. They ended up having a programmer write a quick macro to perform this funcion as Outlook does not provide the capability (as far as we could determine). The process went: 1. Each time a new job was posted, a new Outlook distribution list was created manually (automated later via an interface). the Dist List was the Date and Title of the posting. 2. The programmer created the macro so that when the HR person received the e-mail, they right clicked on the e-mail and it gave them an option to add the person to a Distribution List (aka The Job Posting). 3. The all the HR person had to do was send info to the Dist List and the people were automatically included. You can manually do this yourself but it is a bit time consuming. I hope that helps. Thanks Jeff Cristine Vidales wrote: I am in human resources and for certain positions, I receive hundreds of emails.
