Outlook 2007 Beta MAPI MsgStore-Advise
Has the AdviseSink object for the MAPI MsgStore-Advise changed or has there
been any changes that will cause the function to generate an exception? The MAPI C++ code where the problem occurs has been running for multiple versions of Outlook, version 9 thru 11, but the actual Advise call now generates an exception with the Beta version of Outlook 2007. My guess would be that it's not liking something in the AdviseSink object being passed or the message store has some issue with it but the MAPI Session-Advise uses the same object/code with no issues and as I previously mentioned this code works just fine with previous versions of Outlook. If anyone is aware of changes or issues in this area please let me know. |
Outlook 2007 Beta MAPI MsgStore-Advise
Just FYI, This seems to be a bug when Outlook 2007 is using a non-2007
Exchange Server, i.e. using an older version, 2000 in my case. It works fine when using Outlook 2007 with the matching 2007 server.
