Hi

I am having problems with a drop down list in a custom form.
When ever I add fields, outlook replaces the comma with a semi colon.
For example I need to add "On site, out of office", this then becomes
"Onsite; out of office" and they get seperated in two drop down options (On
site on one line, out of office below it).

Does anyone perhaps have a suggestion on how I could ensure that this stays
one line as one option in the drop down??

You didn't say how you're populating the rows. The easiest solution might be to make that one "Onsite - out of office."

Thanx for you reply, I am trying to populate the list 2 ways:
using the possible values on the control properties (in form design mode)
and the Control.PossibleValues object in the VBScript editor.
Both seem to do the same thing,

I have mentioned that we should leave the comma out or replace it with a -
or / but we would unfortunately need to hav a comma.

any other suggestions??

Never use PossibleValues in code. It will cause the item to one-off, embedding the form definition in the item so that it never runs code again.

If you're goind to use Possible Values on the control's Properties dialog, you can't use commas, because that's a delimiter.

Either change the text for the row so that it doesn't include a comma or use the Rows property or AddItem method to populate the rows. See http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?ID=32
