Design 101 - Contacts
 

I'm trying to a design a Contacts form that will work well for my business.
I made some edits and published it. When I went back, I found that the main
page ("General") was still the same; and that all my edits appeared on p.2
of Contacts.

I want to replace the General page with my own. And then I don't want to
see the "General" page again. What am I doing wrong?

Did you mean to set the original General page so that it doesn't show? Details depend on your Outlook version.

In forms design mode, drop down the Forms menu and uncheck the show this
page option.

Thank you Sue & Hollis. Hollis -- how's the ferry these days? Sue,
I'm sorry, I completely forgot to list my version. So important in
these Outlook groups. Outlook 2002. I followed Hollis' suggestion
and it worked! Very pleased. :-)

As is the case with most ferry terminal towns, there is only "one"
street in town--the highway that moves the ferry traffic in and out.
All other roads lead to that one. Every half hour all local traffic
stops as a slug of ferry traffic spreads out down the road. So, to us
locals, the ferry is a pita! It is absolutely amazing how often we get
to the Mukilteo Speedway (now turned into a slugway) to spend 5 minutes
watching all the cars go by. Its been a long time since I thought
standing on the corner was a cool thing to do.

The local politicians have been trying for at least the last 25 years
to get the state to move the ferry terminal and route the ferry traffic
up a pristine gulch, so they can have their main street back. Isn't it
odd how people will choose to build the homes and businesses about a
feature, like a little-traveled highway, and then come to think they
own it? They should be wary of setting such a precedent--the Indians
might claim their land back.
