Where did my form go?
Exporting a folder exports only the data items, not any of the metadata about a folder, including permission, views, or published forms. It would be on the old server iin the folder you published it.

I've just upgraded from NT Server 4.0 and Exchange Server 5.5 with Outlook 98 clients to Win Server 2003, Exchange Server 2003 and Outlook 2003 clients. Before the migration, there was one public folder that had a custom form (based on the Task). The Public folders were exported to a pst before and copied back after the migration. However, I can't seem to find the custom form used on the one folder. Was the form not included in the pst file? Is it on the old server somewhere? Is it on an old Outlook 98 client somewhere? What file extension might I look for? Thanks... Len |
