The place to check is in the Windows registry -- HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles -- using your choice of registry code. It's not an Outlook function.

Hi Mosher,

Thanks for the response. However, I am not sure what you meant by registry
code. Can you throw some more light on that? I did check the registry
location but i saw so many keys under it with some code names. I was not sure
what they all mean.

Your C# docs should have information and samples on writing code to access the registry. If the key that I described is not present or has no subkeys, the user has no mail profile.
