It appears I'm able to edit the first tab of all types of
forms except the Task form. The fields do not get selected as the other types of forms do. Is this by design??? James |

Yes, it's by design. You cannot edit any page on which a date/time picker appears, because that control is not exposed to developers. See http://www.outlookcode.org/article.aspx?id=60 for other task form quirks and limitations.
