I have Vista, removed the 2007 Windows Trial, and installed the Windows 2003,
but Outlook 2003 has an error message with my MAP132.dll as corrupt (like the previous listings in this group). I renamed Map132.dll to Map132.old --is this a detrimental mistake? After reading this I can quite concerned: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b/926196/en-us I tried to repair the program per the link, but the Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 dialogue box reads "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click ok to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package "PRO11.MSI". I clicked ok and got the same message. I entered PRO11.MSI and got an error message and the the repair failed. What can be done now please? Thank you! |

Carisa,
I followed the instruction and it worked. you are supposed to rename the file for 2007 outlook, MSMAP132.dll, not the 2003 map132.dll. The problem is while MSMAP132.dll is there, and you are trying to open your 2003 outlook, windows skips the rider for 2003 (map132.dll), which makes sense because windows is programmed to use the newest versions of programs. Of course MSMAP132.dll doesn't work b/c its not the rider for 2003 outlook and windows assumes the 2003 outlook rider, map132.dll is missing. Renaming it the 2007 rider MSMAP132.dll to MSMAP132.old changes tells windows that MSMAP132 is not the rider and windows can find the correct rider. How to find MSMAP132.dll: Follow the instructions on the link. When you're in the 1033 folder, the MSMAP132.dll should be below the map132.dll. Hope this helps. xotic "Carisa" wrote: I have Vista, removed the 2007 Windows Trial, and installed the Windows 2003, but Outlook 2003 has an error message with my MAP132.dll as corrupt (like the previous listings in this group). I recently purchased a HP laptop with Windows 7 and a trial version of office 2007. Initially I installed 2003 on it and got the MAP132.dll error messaage. I then decided to register the 2007 trial with reg.number from another computer of mine that is now redundent. Now outlook 2003 still doesn't and 2007 has disappeared from program list. I would like to end up with the 2007 suite, can anyone help me please.
