I have been asked to create a form in Outlook that can be used as a telephone
message. I have created the form in Tasks, with all the custom fields that I need. However, this message will be sent to a young lady in another part of the office, used to pull the patient's medical record, and then be completed by the nurse/physician. I want to print it with my fields intact, but the only option I can find is the memo style print option. Even if I try to modify it, I don't have the options to keep the fields. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated! |

Memo style is all that's available for a task form and there are no
customizations you can make to that style for a task that allows you to set the fields you want printed. Outlook in general hasn't updated or enhanced its printing since Outlook 97, and it has very limited printing options. What most of us do in cases like this is to use code to take all the information we want printed and put that into a Word template or Excel worksheet for printing. That allows complete control over what's printed and how. There are examples of that in many Outlook programming books, as well as some samples at www.outlookcode.com. -- Ken Slovak [MVP - Outlook] http://www.slovaktech.com Author: Professional Programming Outlook 2007 Reminder Manager, Extended Reminders, Attachment Options http://www.slovaktech.com/products.htm "KimY" wrote in message ...
