Before Send Email insert Attachment Path in Body
Is there a way using VBA code, for all outgoing emails to - Get the file path
for the attachment and insert it in the body before it is send out? Kind of a combination or automation of insert link and insert attachment, using one click Thanks, Irene |

An attachment has no file path, unless you inserted it as a link. And in that case, what's the point of having both the text and the link?

You could use Attachment.FileName and .PathName to try to get to the
original attachment file and then read it as a text stream and insert that into the email. Of course you'd have to distinguish attached Outlook items, pictures and so on from true files. aha, that is what I noticed. I know it sounds point less, but the client is
always right:( . Is there away to automate the hyperlink dilog box to always open up to the same place? I guess i am just going to let them now. No, you can't automate the dialog used to insert the hyperlink.
