Permanently enabling macros
 

Each time I want to run a macro on a message in OL-07, I get the enable
macros dialog. Is there a way to do that once and for all? Are there no
"Trusted Locations" in Outlook as there are in the other Office apps?

Not sure if anything changed in Outlook 2007, but is your macro
security set to Medium?

The security levels have different names in 2007. My level in Outlook is set
the same as the levels in Word & XL, and in those 2, I don't get repeating
enable dialogs.

You need to use the Selfcert.exe tool (on the Programs menu under Microsoft Office | Microsoft Office Tools | Digital Certificate for VBA Projects) to create a digitial certificate and then use that certificate to sign your VBA project. Once you do that, you can set the macro security level to "Warnings for signed macros; all unsigned macros are disabled." The next time you restart Outlook and try to run VBA code, you'll be prompted to trust the publisher (i.e. you), but should receive no further prompts after that.

There's no such concept as a trusted folder in Outlook. You need to do what
Sue told you.

unfortunately I need to deploy this on multiple machines, (and without a
public cert)so need the ability to leverage the 'trusted location' facility
(that is missing from Outlook?)
