Custom Toolbar Menus (Outlook 2007) - Want to share with co-worker
I have created a custom menu in Outlook 2007 and want to distribute to co
workers so they don't have to recreate from scratch. The links are pointing to a shared drive containing .oft templates. Can I "zip" or send this custom menu so each emplyee can open and have the same menu items as me? |

With an OFT file each user would have to publish the form to get it to run
correctly, and they would either have to manually select the form for use or use the registry settings mentioned at www.outlookcode.com to set that form as the default for that type of item. -- Ken Slovak [MVP - Outlook] http://www.slovaktech.com Author: Professional Programming Outlook 2007. The .oft files might work if they're just message body templates with no code or custom fields. But there's no way to extract a specific menu from Outlook as a file that can be shared with other users. You'd have to write and distribute code that recreates the menu.
