Possible to require e-mail be read?
Hello! I have a million dollar question... Well, I don't have a million
dollars but do have a burning question: Aside from a return receipt, is it possible using Outlook 2003 to "force" the recipient of an e-mail to read it? For example, I'm in communications and we often times send very important informational e-mails to our employees and they simply delete them. Can we use Outlook to function where they cannot continue to use their Oulook until they read the e-mail sent to them from us and check a box in the e-mail that has text next to it stating they have read it? I.e. Let's say I want to send a particular e-mail to employees that is required to be read by them. I open up the e-mail, check some sort of box stating I want this particular e-mail to be required to be read by employees and send it out. The recipient receives the e-mail and they can't use the functionality of their Outlook until they click into this particular e-mail and check the box they have read it. Then, I would assume I'd want something set up to where the results are tracked in a database. Is this possible and, if so, what would be the steps I would need in order to do so? Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance for the replies! |

You could send surveys and track the answers.
