Automatic Formatting

Hi!

I'm wondering if I can programmatically change the a view's 'Automatic
Formatting'.
i.e. I can manually set my unread e-mails to be displayed in a view in red
via the Automatic Formatting...

I think you should treat the BeforeFolderSwitch event, and in it, if the
folder to be switched to contains items of type olMail, then add your button
to the dropdown, otherwise don't (or remove it...

Hi!

I have an Outlook addin with a custom button in a toolbar. When I press
this button, I would like to search for certain mailitems (using
AdvancedSearch), and display them in a list...

But isn't there any way to do this, even with CDO or Redemption? If the user
can do this manually, I belive there should be a way to do this
programatically as well. Also, it seems that I can...
