Can't switch identities

Nothing seems to work so I decided just to do a system restore before the
problem started. It is resolved now and I went back to sp2. I did notice
something though, not sure what this means but...

If I uninstall sp3 it still does the same thing. The weird thing is now it
will let me switch 2 or 3 times and then it stops again. Should I uninstall

name and then my wifes name. The master account is never used and was never
renamed, just something time warner set us...
