No, not possible. But the curious portion is why Outlook 2003 works
unhindered. This issue only presents itself with OL2007B2.

Also, we are running a sniffer and do not see any packets coming...

our servers. Further, the mail server is not locked down or has any security

Ok, here is the setup:

Laptop w/ Windows XP SP2 + All patches. Running clean Office 2007 B2.

Not connected to the LAN, through a cable modem with Netscreen client
version 8.7:

Ok,

This issue can be closed out. I deleted all the exchange profiles and
recreating them while connected to the LAN, and all is working. I'll
recreate another thread on the root cause of this...

None of these problems are mine. It seems Voltus can get further than I can.
I can't even get to first base connecting to exchange!

The version exchange we use is 2003 Standard. All service packs, all patches.

Just went through all the lists and my root problem is Outlook installs fine,
I did a Upgrade from 2003 to 2007, all my settings are right... And no matter
what... It says it cannot connect to the...
