why i can send email but cannot receive from exchange server?

Since Office 2007 beta does not support Exchange 5.5, it sometimes detects
the Exchange 2000 server to be 5.5 and refuses to connect. This is a known
bug and can be temporarily fixed by manually...

Are you sure that you are running Outlook 2003 in cached mode? I have seen
corrupted profiles alot in 2002 but nearly none so far in 2003. Please
verify your settings.
