I just initiated a switch of primary e-mail accounts by using True
Switch--the service provided free to MSN Premium customers. Basically, I
tell them to redirect all of my pop mail to my MSN...

Over the years I've seen lots of posts about the default Outlook.pst file.
This is gonna sound strange but is it actually named "outlook.pst"? On my

change/remove MAPI
OE appears to have moved them EXCEPT for the fact that it didn't take long
enough. Moving to Outlook, the messages aren't there.
As for how I'm doing it--this is from memory--File, Import/export,...

At least temporarily, I'd like to remove the MAPI portion of my Outlook.
Basically, I setup Outlook (as part of Office 2003) using Outlook Connector
and, thus, my primary e-mail address is my MSN...

Export mail-update for Milly
Hello again. I decided to add some e-mail accounts to OE to try the export
and import again. Nothing changes on the export from OE...it appears to
work just fine but, to be honest, as I think...

Yahoo email
Assuming you have Yahoo Mail Plus, you use:
pop.mail.yahoo.com
and
smtp.mail.yahoo.com
for your incoming and outgoing mail The outgoing port must be 587
Everything else is about as you'd expect...

Windows mail import from OE
I'm assuming when Windows Vista and, thus, Windows Mail becomes a
reality, it will import our OE settings, folders and mail as it's the
official replacement but I haven't actually seen anything on...

I currently use Office 2003 and, of course, that version of Outlook. I
haven't paid a lot of attention to them as it didn't apply to me but I
know there are problems with using parts of Office...
