was created. I can safely remove it from the account settings since the
original file is now set to default, correct?...

Turns out the culprit was the BCM add-in. Obviously it had become corrupted
as I'd used it forever. Do you happen to know any tip pages on fixing or
repairing BCM? Thanks.

Bingo on disabling Add-ins...that did the trick! Now, I'll add back one by
one until I find the culprit.

Firstly, after a reboot I was able to open OL in Safe Mode.

I've not disable anything in OL to this point but can to see if I still
encounter the problem.

My upgrade from 2003 to 2007 was years...

Well Kathleen, upon opening OL this morning with the newly created profile
from yesterday, I'm back to square one...out of memory or system

pops up wanting me to open the old .pst...

Thanks for the response. Just so I'm clear, should I stop the feeds in IE7 &
