Hi Gandolf,

are you running Outlook older than 2003 SP1?
If you do it would explain why the add-in doesn't show up.

You must also install PIA (Primary Interop Assemblies) which are .NET
wrappers...

I think that Ken means that you should convince yourself that the add-in has
been given proper permissions.

So start the .NET Framework 2.0 Configuration applet which incidentially is

I concur with your observation.

The add-in works on two machines both of which have VS 2005.

The add-in fails to load on a third machine which has a similar baseline but
no Visual Studio.
