Multiple meeting updates being sent from the organizer

We have a few users creating meeting requests. All seems to work and users
accept them. Then a day, an hour, or a minute later, (random) the receivers
receive another 'update' from the organizer...

I have outlook 2002 installed on my computer running XP. When I attempt to
open the calendar, outlook locks up and shuts down. The detect and repair
application in the help menu will not complete...

I've been having the same trouble on my home pc since I installed Office
2003. Interestingly, at my office we just upgraded to Office 2003 so I
decided to try setting up the HTTP...
