Reminders for deleted calendar items
I am just noticing the same problem on both my Outlook 2007 and 2003
versions. Something we found was that if the calendar item is still in the
Deleted Items folder, it still notifies.

Free/Busy Slowness
I thought this as well, but I don't believe this to be the case. I was just
provided with some new info - when the user is added to the exchange admins
group in AD, the free/busy info populates...
