Can't copy from Works into OE 5

Can't copy from Works into OE 5

My computer suddenly seems not to want to copy text from Works documents into
email messages. When I try this, it shuts down OE. Any ideas what might cause
this?

I have this same problem, and also tried switching off email scanning, no
help. Any other ideas? It is most annoying!
