Outlook 2007 Will Not Respond in Calendar View

It just started today, whenever I try to view the calendar it will freeze
indefinately with the "Not Responding" warning.

I can't remember where...

....the setting are for how many seconds it takes reading a message in the
viewer pane to be "unread."
