Mails take hell of a time to open

Hi All,
I've encountered this problem saveral times even with a pop3 as well as with
microsoft exchange server configured outlook account. The mails take hell of

Open outlook, go to file - import & export - select import form another
program or file - say next - select personal folder file (.pst) - say next -
browse to the location where your old .pst file...
