The missing contacts did not appear in any of the “view” options, nor was

Yes, it is the contact folder. I will have the user check to see what view
he is in and whether or not the missing contacts have an "electronic address"

Searching Shared Calendars
I actually got this to work finally. There was a filter set that I removed on
the shared calendar and then I could search it when I opened it in a new
window.

Searching Shared Calendars
I am also looking for an answer to this question. It seems if the person has
rights to the full mailbox of someone else (email, calendar, etc.) you can
search it, but if you just have Editor...
